| Wow, would you believe it i have passed my nursing exams! That means i can start to work on my own and start to put the mother and child clinic into action. It's all very exciting and quite nervewracking!! The Weather has been a bit mis. But today i could wear my trendy sun glasses! I like to think that i look cool but my bro says i look like a fly!!!
Life is generally good, with some up and downs. But praise God for his faithfulness. What a priviledge to be living here right now. | | |
| It's 38C!!!! Whoa it's hot. Good job there is air conditioning. Settling back into the clinic and PHC it's great to be back and i am really excited about the coming year. | | |
| I've had an amazing time in my home land catching up with 'everyone'! Rushing around the sussex countryside. Now it's back on Sunday to the sun and plenty to keep me occupied and out of mischief. I return to see if i have passed my nursing exams then to set up the mother and child clinic, as well as work in the Primary Health clinic. I have to do some additional training on immunisations, then we ready to go. It's going to be a challenge but very exciting...... | | |
| I've had an amazing time in South Africa this year setting up a Primary Health Care clinic and working as a counsellor in a Pregnancy Help Centre. The work is expanding next year as we plan to open a mother and child clinic and a mobile clinic into Langa and Joe Slovo townships. I am based in Cape Town which is a beautiful city, where we are in the midst of summner now! I have been home to the UK for one month to see all my lovely friends and family over Christmas and New Year. It has been tiring but great. I return on 21st Jan for another year of relying on our faithful God, seeing lives changed by his power and having a lot of fun amongst the work! | | |
